9. PRO: In order to protect crops from insect pests, most farmers use chemical pestecides, which can affect peoples' health and can also affect the enviornment from pestecide wastes. 10. PRO: There is no evidence that GMO's cause allergic reactions, and since we eat GMO's all the time, there is probably no one allergic to at least the major GMO's like corn, soy, and canola. 13.)CON- Monsanto, a major producer of GMO's, has sued people because their RoundUp Ready plants have been found on farmer's land after being blown in by the wind. They have also created a form of blackmail by forcing them to sign a paper that says they will not sue Monsanto for any reason. They have created a suicide seed that will die after one fertile year so you must by their plants over and over again. The Future of Food. K
